Public consultation by the Tolladine Collective Photos from our public consultation on Monday 23rd October. We went to over 400 houses, and either spoke to, or dropped off questionnaires, to each of the residents. It was a brilliant day, the people of Tolladine really opened up and gave us some invaluable insight into what makes their community tick, and how it could be improved. The Tolly Centre set aside some space for our designated postbox and additional questionnaires. |
The Exhibition
The information we collated highlighted the areas of the community that were great, and also where there was need for improvement. We used this to inform our proposals, which we presented to the community on Thursday 16th November at the Tolly Centre. We had 10 school representatives from Holly Mount School attend as well as members from St Pauls Hostel, the mayor and mayoress, councillors, city officials, local clergy and the general public. The night was a total success, our ideas seemed to inspire and delight those who saw them. Hopefully we have planted the seed to help the people of Tolladine to become more sustainable and become stronger as a community. |
