#LiveWorkMake
Social, Economic and Environmental Design by LiveWorkMake LiveWorkMake is a design collective who’s aim is to understand and explore innovative ways of creating sustainable communities. By establishing an understanding of the social, economic and environmental factors of an area, we hope to engage and work with local individuals and groups to create sustainable communities that will help improve the lifestyles and environments of those who live there. Our team comprises of ten Master of Architecture students from the University of the West of England, Bristol: - Yorgi Kalomenopoulos - Daniel O'Brien - Frankie Clarke - Daisy Denny-Higgins - Tom Bostock - Jess Baker - Lee Huey Ling - Hannah Drake - Riddhi Bora - Kloe Thorner Our current focus of our design research will be on the Bristol based circus school, Circomedia. Our aim is to produce a feasibility report for their proposed move to their new premises at the Bottle Yard Studios in Bristol. The site will allow them to potentially increase the quality and quantity of students and artists, as well as create partnerships with other companies. It will create accommodation and provide increased space for the creation and rehearsal of the performing arts. This semester we will be exploring our own design ideas as individuals, and develop our own projects. |
